Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Stars by Albert Joseph Moore was auctioned at Sothebys in London in December 2019. The price achieved of GBP 25,000.00 (€ 29,547.07) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Albert Joseph Moore achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Jasmine in June 2008 with an auction result of GBP 1,777,250.00 (€ 2,246,503.59).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Stars von Albert Joseph Moore kam im Dezember 2019 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 25.000,00 (€ 29.547,07) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Albert Joseph Moore erzielen.
