Auction result misses estimated price range
In July 2018 a collector was able to acquire the work Stars by Albert Joseph Moore for GBP 35,000.00 (€ 39,242.70). This price was achieved in the auction Victorian, Pre-Raphaelite & British Impressionist Art at Sothebys in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 40,000.00 – 60,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Albert Joseph Moore achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Jasmine in June 2008 with an auction result of GBP 1,777,250.00 (€ 2,246,503.59).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juli 2018 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Stars von Albert Joseph Moore für GBP 35.000,00 (€ 39.242,70) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Victorian, Pre-Raphaelite & British Impressionist Art bei Sothebys in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 40.000,00 – 60.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Albert Joseph Moore erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Jasmine im Juni 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 1.777.250,00 (€ 2.246.503,59).
