Auction result misses estimated price range
In July 2021 a collector was able to acquire the work Meditation by Albert Joseph Moore for GBP 125,000.00 (€ 146,588.42). This price was achieved in the auction British and European Art at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 300,000.00 – 500,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Albert Joseph Moore achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Jasmine in June 2008 with an auction result of GBP 1,777,250.00 (€ 2,246,503.59).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juli 2021 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Meditation von Albert Joseph Moore für GBP 125.000,00 (€ 146.588,42) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion British and European Art bei Christies in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 300.000,00 – 500.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Albert Joseph Moore erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Jasmine im Juni 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 1.777.250,00 (€ 2.246.503,59).
