Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Bouvier Twins by Albert Herter was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in March last year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 60,000.00 – 80,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 63,000.00 (€ 56,792.57) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Albert Herter have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May 2011 the work A Family Group was auctioned for USD 122,500.00 (€ 85,211.46).
