The work A Family Group by Albert Herter was auctioned at Christies in New York in May 2011. The price achieved of USD 122,500.00 (€ 85,211.46) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 100,000.00 – 150,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, A Family Group is the most expensive artwork by Albert Herter that we have observed at auctions so far.
