In March this year Christies in London held the auction Impressionist and Modern Art Day and Works on Paper Sale, which included the work L'heure du bain à Dieppe by Albert André. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 18,900.00 (€ 21,502.40), 26% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Albert André have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Nature Morte Et Statue in March 2013 with an auction result of USD 137,500.00 (€ 107,287.77).

Im März diesen Jahres führte Christies in London die Auktion Impressionist and Modern Art Day and Works on Paper Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit L'heure du bain à Dieppe von Albert André zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 18.900,00 (€ 21.502,40) und damit 26% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Albert André auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Nature Morte Et Statue im März 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 137.500,00 (€ 107.287,77).
