In September 2018 Phillips in New York held the auction New Now, which included the work Remember Your Level by Al Taylor. The »bidding war« ended at USD 11,875.00 (€ 10,217.69), 70% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Al Taylor - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Peabody Group, #9 - 1992, which sold at auction in October last year for EUR 40,672.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 70 % übertroffen
Im September 2018 führte Phillips in New York die Auktion New Now durch, in der auch die Arbeit Remember Your Level von Al Taylor zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 11.875,00 (€ 10.217,69) und damit 70% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Al Taylor mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The Peabody Group, #9 - 1992 beobachtet, die im Oktober letzten Jahres für EUR 40.672,00 versteigert wurde.
