Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Color Paris by Agustín Fernández was auctioned at Bonhams in New York in November last year. The price achieved of USD 15,300.00 (€ 14,821.27) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Agustín Fernández - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work without title, which sold at auction in September this year for USD 40,320.00 (€ 38,095.24).

Die Arbeit Color Paris von Agustín Fernández kam im November letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 15.300,00 (€ 14.821,27) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 12.000,00 – 18.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Agustín Fernández mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit ohne Titel beobachtet, die im September diesen Jahres für USD 40.320,00 (€ 38.095,24) versteigert wurde.
