This artwork by Agustín Fernández achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in New York in March last year. In the Post-War, Contemporary and Latin American Art Online auction, the work Recherche Epidémique sold for USD 14,025.00 (€ 12,643.11) - well above the upper estimate of USD 8,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Agustín Fernández - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work without title, which sold at auction in September this year for USD 40,320.00 (€ 38,095.24).

In der Auktion Post-War, Contemporary and Latin American Art Online wurde die Arbeit Recherche Epidémique für USD 14.025,00 (€ 12.643,11) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 8.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Agustín Fernández mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit ohne Titel beobachtet, die im September diesen Jahres für USD 40.320,00 (€ 38.095,24) versteigert wurde.
