The work La mesa by Agustín Fernández was sold in the Latin American Art Online auction at Christies in New York in August 2020. The »bidding war« ended at USD 15,000.00 (€ 12,567.02), 25% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Agustín Fernández - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work without title, which sold at auction in September this year for USD 40,320.00 (€ 38,095.24).

Die Arbeit La mesa von Agustín Fernández wurde im August 2020 in der Auktion Latin American Art Online bei Christies in New York versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 15.000,00 (€ 12.567,02) und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Agustín Fernández mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit ohne Titel beobachtet, die im September diesen Jahres für USD 40.320,00 (€ 38.095,24) versteigert wurde.
