Auction result well in line with expectations
In March 2016 Sothebys in New York held the auction Contemporary Curated, which included the work From The Series 'Two Suns' (Triptych) by Adrián Villar Rojas. The price achieved of USD 9,375.00 (€ 8,230.90) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Adrián Villar Rojas achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work From the series 'Two Suns' in October 2021 with an auction result of GBP 75,000.00 (€ 88,854.74).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März 2016 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Contemporary Curated durch, in der auch die Arbeit From The Series 'Two Suns' (Triptych) von Adrián Villar Rojas zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 9.375,00 (€ 8.230,90) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Adrián Villar Rojas erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit From the series 'Two Suns' im Oktober 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 75.000,00 (€ 88.854,74).
