This artwork by Adrian Heath achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in September 2019. In the Made in Britain auction, the work Composition - Black & Ochre With Blue sold for GBP 72,500.00 (€ 81,807.66) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 35,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Adrian Heath - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Painting With Orange And Purple, which sold at auction in October last year for GBP 163,800.00 (€ 190,825.19).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Adrian Heath erzielte im September 2019 bei Sothebys in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Made in Britain wurde die Arbeit Composition - Black & Ochre With Blue für GBP 72.500,00 (€ 81.807,66) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 35.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Adrian Heath mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Painting With Orange And Purple beobachtet, die im Oktober letzten Jahres für GBP 163.800,00 (€ 190.825,19) versteigert wurde.
