Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%

This artwork by Adrian Heath achieved an unexpectedly high price at Phillips in London in December this year. In the New Now auction, the work Composition White & Yellow sold for GBP 53,340.00 (€ 61,445.64) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 20,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Adrian Heath - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Painting With Orange And Purple, which sold at auction in October last year for GBP 163,800.00 (€ 190,825.19).

Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen

Dieses Kunstwerk von Adrian Heath erzielte im Dezember diesen Jahres bei Phillips in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion New Now wurde die Arbeit Composition White & Yellow für GBP 53.340,00 (€ 61.445,64) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 20.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Adrian Heath mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Painting With Orange And Purple beobachtet, die im Oktober letzten Jahres für GBP 163.800,00 (€ 190.825,19) versteigert wurde.
