Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Adrian Heath achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in March last year. In the Modern British and Irish Art Day Sale auction, the work Painting sold for GBP 83,160.00 (€ 98,595.54) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 30,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Adrian Heath; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Painting With Orange And Purple sold at auction in October last year with the realized price of GBP 163,800.00 (€ 190,825.19).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Adrian Heath erzielte im März letzten Jahres bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern British and Irish Art Day Sale wurde die Arbeit Painting für GBP 83.160,00 (€ 98.595,54) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 30.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Adrian Heath; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Painting With Orange And Purple im Oktober letzten Jahres mit dem Hammerpreis von GBP 163.800,00 (€ 190.825,19).
