This artwork by Adrian Heath achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in March this year. In the Modern British and Irish Art auction, the work without title sold for GBP 28,020.00 (€ 31,878.16) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 15,000.00. Admittedly, works by Adrian Heath have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Painting With Orange And Purple in October last year with an auction result of GBP 163,800.00 (€ 190,825.19).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 87 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Adrian Heath erzielte im März diesen Jahres bei Bonhams einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern British and Irish Art wurde diese Arbeit ohne Titel für GBP 28.020,00 (€ 31.878,16) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 15.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Adrian Heath auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Painting With Orange And Purple im Oktober letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 163.800,00 (€ 190.825,19).
