Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Chittoe No.2 by Adrian Heath was sold in the London ColourModern British Art Online auction at Bonhams in April this year. It changed hands for a price of GBP 7,650.00 (€ 8,718.51) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Adrian Heath achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Painting With Orange And Purple in October last year with an auction result of GBP 163,800.00 (€ 190,825.19).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Chittoe No.2 von Adrian Heath wurde im April diesen Jahres in der Auktion London ColourModern British Art Online bei Bonhams versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 7.650,00 (€ 8.718,51) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Adrian Heath erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Painting With Orange And Purple im Oktober letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 163.800,00 (€ 190.825,19).
