Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2008 Christies in New York held the auction Prints and Multiples, which included the work Four lithographs by the artist by Adolf Dehn. The price achieved of USD 2,375.00 (€ 1,872.73) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Adolf Dehn - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The First Snowfall, which sold at auction in March 2010 for USD 9,375.00 (€ 6,931.10).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2008 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Prints and Multiples durch, in der auch die Arbeit Four lithographs by the artist von Adolf Dehn zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 2.375,00 (€ 1.872,73) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Adolf Dehn mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The First Snowfall beobachtet, die im März 2010 für USD 9.375,00 (€ 6.931,10) versteigert wurde.
