Sold at the lower estimate price
The work Winter landscapes (three works) by Adolf Dehn was sold in the Living with Art auction at Christies in New York in October 2016. The result of USD 2,000.00 (€ 1,824.48) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Adolf Dehn - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The First Snowfall, which sold at auction in March 2010 for USD 9,375.00 (€ 6,931.10).

Die Arbeit Winter landscapes (three works) von Adolf Dehn wurde im Oktober 2016 in der Auktion Living with Art bei Christies in New York versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 2.000,00 (€ 1.824,48) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Adolf Dehn mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The First Snowfall beobachtet, die im März 2010 für USD 9.375,00 (€ 6.931,10) versteigert wurde.
