Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Adolf Dehn could be acquired at Bonhams in Los Angeles in August last year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Discovery Online auction, the work A Group of Four Landscapes, 1933-47 changed hands for USD 165.75 (€ 164.68) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 400.00 – 600.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Adolf Dehn achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The First Snowfall in March 2010 with an auction result of USD 9,375.00 (€ 6,931.10).
