Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Shadia by Adel El Siwi was auctioned at Christies in Dubai in March 2014. Here, the upper estimate of USD 35,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 37,500.00 (€ 27,219.28). Admittedly, works by Adel El Siwi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Red & The Blue in April 2012 with an auction result of USD 158,500.00 (€ 119,812.53).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Shadia von Adel El Siwi kam im März 2014 bei Christies in Dubai zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 35.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 37.500,00 (€ 27.219,28) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Adel El Siwi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Red & The Blue im April 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 158.500,00 (€ 119.812,53).
