Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In February last year Bonhams in London held the auction Middle Eastern Art Online Sale, which included this untitled work by Adel El Siwi. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 3,570.00 (€ 4,268.16), 19% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Adel El Siwi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Red & The Blue in April 2012 with an auction result of USD 158,500.00 (€ 119,812.53).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Februar letzten Jahres führte Bonhams in London die Auktion Middle Eastern Art Online Sale durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Adel El Siwi zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 3.570,00 (€ 4.268,16) und damit 19% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Adel El Siwi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Red & The Blue im April 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 158.500,00 (€ 119.812,53).
