Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work African Prince by Adel El Siwi was auctioned at Bonhams in London in December 2018. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 7,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 7,500.00 (€ 8,355.67). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Adel El Siwi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Red & The Blue in April 2012 with an auction result of USD 158,500.00 (€ 119,812.53).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit African Prince von Adel El Siwi kam im Dezember 2018 bei Bonhams in London zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 7.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 7.500,00 (€ 8.355,67) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Adel El Siwi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Red & The Blue im April 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 158.500,00 (€ 119.812,53).
