Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
This work without title by Adel El Siwi was auctioned at Christies in Dubai in March 2019. Here, the upper estimate of USD 30,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 33,750.00 (€ 30,058.78). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Adel El Siwi - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Red & The Blue, which sold at auction in April 2012 for USD 158,500.00 (€ 119,812.53).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Adel El Siwi kam im März 2019 bei Christies in Dubai zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 30.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 33.750,00 (€ 30.058,78) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Adel El Siwi mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The Red & The Blue beobachtet, die im April 2012 für USD 158.500,00 (€ 119.812,53) versteigert wurde.
