Auction result misses estimated price range
In March 2016 a collector was able to acquire the work No Smoking by Adel Abdessemed for GBP 1,250.00 (€ 1,578.25). This price was achieved in the auction Contemporary Curated at Sothebys in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 1,500.00 – 2,500.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Adel Abdessemed achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Klan in October 2014 with an auction result of GBP 206,500.00 (€ 263,670.67).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im März 2016 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit No Smoking von Adel Abdessemed für GBP 1.250,00 (€ 1.578,25) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Contemporary Curated bei Sothebys in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.500,00 – 2.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Adel Abdessemed erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Klan im Oktober 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 206.500,00 (€ 263.670,67).
