Auction result misses estimated price range
In June 2020 a collector was able to acquire the work Le mythe de Sisyphe by Adel Abdessemed for EUR 12,500.00. This price was achieved in the auction Post-War and Contemporary Art at Christies in Paris and was even below the estimate range of EUR 15,000.00 – 20,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Adel Abdessemed achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Klan in October 2014 with an auction result of GBP 206,500.00 (€ 263,670.67).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juni 2020 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Le mythe de Sisyphe von Adel Abdessemed für EUR 12.500,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Art bei Christies in Paris erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Adel Abdessemed erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Klan im Oktober 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 206.500,00 (€ 263.670,67).
