Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2016 Sothebys in Paris held the auction Art Contemporain / Contemporary Art, which included the work Oia by Adel Abdessemed. The price achieved of EUR 21,250.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 18,000.00 – 25,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Adel Abdessemed achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Klan in October 2014 with an auction result of GBP 206,500.00 (€ 263,670.67).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2016 führte Sothebys in Paris die Auktion Art Contemporain / Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Oia von Adel Abdessemed zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 21.250,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 18.000,00 – 25.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Adel Abdessemed erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Klan im Oktober 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 206.500,00 (€ 263.670,67).
