Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Adel Abdessemed achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Paris in March 2017. In the Œuvres sur Papier auction, the work Lampedusa sold for EUR 175,000.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 70,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Adel Abdessemed; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Klan sold at auction in October 2014 with the realized price of GBP 206,500.00 (€ 263,670.67).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Adel Abdessemed erzielte im März 2017 bei Sothebys in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Œuvres sur Papier wurde die Arbeit Lampedusa für EUR 175.000,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 70.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Adel Abdessemed; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Klan im Oktober 2014 mit dem Hammerpreis von GBP 206.500,00 (€ 263.670,67).
