Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Man In A White Turban by Adam Styka was auctioned at Sothebys in London in June 2020. The price achieved of GBP 5,000.00 (€ 5,506.63) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Adam Styka achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A negotiation in October 2021 with an auction result of GBP 137,750.00 (€ 163,196.55).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Man In A White Turban von Adam Styka kam im Juni 2020 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 5.000,00 (€ 5.506,63) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Adam Styka erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A negotiation im Oktober 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 137.750,00 (€ 163.196,55).
