Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Adam Styka achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in October 2021. In the Orientalist Art auction, the work A negotiation sold for GBP 137,750.00 (€ 163,196.55) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 60,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Adam Styka - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Le Nil À Louxor, which sold at auction in December 2021 for MAD 715,000.00 (€ 631,737.06).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Adam Styka erzielte im Oktober 2021 bei Bonhams einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Orientalist Art wurde die Arbeit A negotiation für GBP 137.750,00 (€ 163.196,55) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 60.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Adam Styka mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Le Nil À Louxor beobachtet, die im Dezember 2021 für MAD 715.000,00 (€ 631.737,06) versteigert wurde.
