Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In March last year Sothebys in London held the auction The Orientalist Sale, which included the work Resting in the Sunshine, Bou-Saâda by Adam Styka. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 9,450.00 (€ 11,204.04), 18% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Adam Styka achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A negotiation in October 2021 with an auction result of GBP 137,750.00 (€ 163,196.55).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im März letzten Jahres führte Sothebys in London die Auktion The Orientalist Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Resting in the Sunshine, Bou-Saâda von Adam Styka zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 9.450,00 (€ 11.204,04) und damit 18% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Adam Styka erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A negotiation im Oktober 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 137.750,00 (€ 163.196,55).
