It achieved a price of USD 25,000.00 (€ 21,464.75), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 25%. Admittedly, works by Adam Styka have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A negotiation in October 2021 with an auction result of GBP 137,750.00 (€ 163,196.55).

Die Arbeit The Favorite von Adam Styka wurde im Oktober 2020 in der Auktion European Art Part II bei Christies in New York versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 25.000,00 (€ 21.464,75) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 25%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Adam Styka auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A negotiation im Oktober 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 137.750,00 (€ 163.196,55).
