This artwork by Adam Styka achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in New York in April 2021. In the European Art auction, the work Lavandières À Biskra sold for USD 30,000.00 (€ 24,937.66) - well above the upper estimate of USD 15,000.00. Admittedly, works by Adam Styka have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A negotiation in October 2021 with an auction result of GBP 137,750.00 (€ 163,196.55).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 100 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Adam Styka erzielte im April 2021 bei Christies in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion European Art wurde die Arbeit Lavandières À Biskra für USD 30.000,00 (€ 24.937,66) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 15.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Adam Styka auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A negotiation im Oktober 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 137.750,00 (€ 163.196,55).
