Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Fetching water by Adam Styka was auctioned at Bonhams in October 2021. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 15,000.00 – 20,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 15,250.00 (€ 18,067.13) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Adam Styka have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A negotiation in October 2021 with an auction result of GBP 137,750.00 (€ 163,196.55).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Fetching water von Adam Styka kam im Oktober 2021 bei Bonhams zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 15.000,00 – 20.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 15.250,00 (€ 18.067,13) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Adam Styka auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A negotiation im Oktober 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 137.750,00 (€ 163.196,55).
