In November 2021 Sothebys in London held the auction Contemporary Curated, which included the work Black T. Shirt by Adam Neate. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 5,040.00 (€ 5,917.43), 26% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Adam Neate achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Suicide Bomber in December 2007 with an auction result of GBP 78,500.00 (€ 106,668.18).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 26 % übertroffen
Im November 2021 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Contemporary Curated durch, in der auch die Arbeit Black T. Shirt von Adam Neate zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 5.040,00 (€ 5.917,43) und damit 26% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Adam Neate erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Suicide Bomber im Dezember 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 78.500,00 (€ 106.668,18).
