Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Adam Neate achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Hong Kong in July 2021. In the Eclectic auction, the work The Hug sold for HKD 5,040.00 (€ 546.31) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 2,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Adam Neate achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Suicide Bomber in December 2007 with an auction result of GBP 78,500.00 (€ 106,668.18).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Adam Neate erzielte im Juli 2021 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Eclectic wurde die Arbeit The Hug für HKD 5.040,00 (€ 546,31) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 2.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Adam Neate erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Suicide Bomber im Dezember 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 78.500,00 (€ 106.668,18).
