Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2017 Artcurial in Paris held the auction Beyond Urban, which included the work The Sightseers - 2009 by Adam Neate. The price achieved of EUR 13,000.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Admittedly, works by Adam Neate have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Suicide Bomber in December 2007 with an auction result of GBP 78,500.00 (€ 106,668.18).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2017 führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion Beyond Urban durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Sightseers - 2009 von Adam Neate zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 13.000,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Adam Neate auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Suicide Bomber im Dezember 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 78.500,00 (€ 106.668,18).
