Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Betchworth Park in Surrey by Abraham Hulk Jnr. was auctioned at Christies in London in May 2004. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 25.00 – 200.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 29.88 (€ 44.83) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Abraham Hulk Jnr. achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work View of Albury Heath, Surrey in September 2000 with an auction result of GBP 3,055.00 (€ 5,111.95).

Die Arbeit Betchworth Park in Surrey von Abraham Hulk Jnr. kam im Mai 2004 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 25,00 – 200,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 29,88 (€ 44,83) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
