Auction result misses estimated price range
In May 2007 a collector was able to acquire the work Beside the river's edge by Abraham Hulk Jnr. for GBP 240.00 (€ 353.18). This price was achieved in the auction British, Continental & Russian Pictures & Prints at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 300.00 – 500.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Abraham Hulk Jnr. achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work View of Albury Heath, Surrey in September 2000 with an auction result of GBP 3,055.00 (€ 5,111.95).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Mai 2007 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Beside the river's edge von Abraham Hulk Jnr. für GBP 240,00 (€ 353,18) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion British, Continental & Russian Pictures & Prints bei Christies in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 300,00 – 500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Abraham Hulk Jnr. erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit View of Albury Heath, Surrey im September 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 3.055,00 (€ 5.111,95).
