Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Abraham Hulk Jnr. could be acquired at Sothebys in Olympia in July 2007 for an unexpectedly low price. In the British & Continental Pictures including Sporting and Marine Paintings auction, the work Sailing At Sunset changed hands for GBP 504.00 (€ 748.56) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Admittedly, works by Abraham Hulk Jnr. have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work View of Albury Heath, Surrey in September 2000 with an auction result of GBP 3,055.00 (€ 5,111.95).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Abraham Hulk Jnr. konnte im Juli 2007 bei Sothebys in Olympia für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion British & Continental Pictures including Sporting and Marine Paintings wechselte die Arbeit Sailing At Sunset für GBP 504,00 (€ 748,56) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Abraham Hulk Jnr. auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit View of Albury Heath, Surrey im September 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 3.055,00 (€ 5.111,95).
