Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Feeding the chickens before a farmstead ; and A shepherdess with her flock by woodland by Abraham Hulk Jnr. was auctioned at Christies in London in August 2002. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 700.00 – 1,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 763.75 (€ 1,205.36) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Abraham Hulk Jnr. have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work View of Albury Heath, Surrey in September 2000 with an auction result of GBP 3,055.00 (€ 5,111.95).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Feeding the chickens before a farmstead ; and A shepherdess with her flock by woodland von Abraham Hulk Jnr. kam im August 2002 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 700,00 – 1.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 763,75 (€ 1.205,36) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Abraham Hulk Jnr. auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit View of Albury Heath, Surrey im September 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 3.055,00 (€ 5.111,95).
