Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2006 Christies in London held the auction Post-War and Contemporary Art, which included the work Ink Pad Blue by Abigail Lane. The price achieved of GBP 4,800.00 (€ 7,171.63) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Other works by Abigail Lane have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in June 2000 the work Ink Pad I was auctioned for GBP 6,815.00 (€ 10,802.61).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2006 führte Christies in London die Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Ink Pad Blue von Abigail Lane zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 4.800,00 (€ 7.171,63) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Abigail Lane konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Juni 2000 die Arbeit Ink Pad I für GBP 6.815,00 (€ 10.802,61) versteigert.
