In the Yellow Ball: The Frank and Lorna Dunphy Collection Online auction, the work For His Own Good sold for GBP 750.00 (€ 842.35) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 400.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Abigail Lane achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Ink Pad I in June 2000 with an auction result of GBP 6,815.00 (€ 10,802.61).

Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Abigail Lane erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Ink Pad I im Juni 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 6.815,00 (€ 10.802,61).
