Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Untitled from Snow White by Abbas Kiarostami was auctioned at Phillips in London in November 2008. The price achieved of GBP 17,500.00 (€ 21,158.82) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Admittedly, works by Abbas Kiarostami have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Untitled #6 from Snow White Series in May 2008 with an auction result of GBP 72,500.00 (€ 92,223.17).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Untitled from Snow White von Abbas Kiarostami kam im November 2008 bei Phillips in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 17.500,00 (€ 21.158,82) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 15.000,00 – 20.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Abbas Kiarostami auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Untitled #6 from Snow White Series im Mai 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 72.500,00 (€ 92.223,17).
