Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In November 2015 Artcurial held the auction Photography, which included the work Photographie N°64 -1999 by Abbas Kiarostami. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 2,340.00 17% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Abbas Kiarostami achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Untitled #6 from Snow White Series in May 2008 with an auction result of GBP 72,500.00 (€ 92,223.17).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im November 2015 führte Artcurial die Auktion Photography durch, in der auch die Arbeit Photographie N°64 -1999 von Abbas Kiarostami zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 2.340,00 und damit 17% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Abbas Kiarostami erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Untitled #6 from Snow White Series im Mai 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 72.500,00 (€ 92.223,17).
