Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2018 Artcurial in Paris held the auction 20th Century Art 1950 to present, which included the work Snow White - 2004 by Abbas Kiarostami. The price achieved of EUR 4,940.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Abbas Kiarostami achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Untitled #6 from Snow White Series in May 2008 with an auction result of GBP 72,500.00 (€ 92,223.17).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2018 führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion 20th Century Art 1950 to present durch, in der auch die Arbeit Snow White - 2004 von Abbas Kiarostami zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 4.940,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Abbas Kiarostami erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Untitled #6 from Snow White Series im Mai 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 72.500,00 (€ 92.223,17).
