The work Children by A.D. Pirous was sold in the SOUTHEAST ASIAN & 20TH CENTURY INDIAN PICTURES auction at Christies in Hong Kong in April 2002. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 71,700.00 (€ 10,211.00), 43% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by A.D. Pirous - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Bila Bumi Bergetar II (When The Earth Quakes II), which sold at auction in May 2016 for HKD 350,000.00 (€ 40,453.52).

Die Arbeit Children von A.D. Pirous wurde im April 2002 in der Auktion SOUTHEAST ASIAN & 20TH CENTURY INDIAN PICTURES bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 71.700,00 (€ 10.211,00) und damit 43% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von A.D. Pirous mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Bila Bumi Bergetar II (When The Earth Quakes II) beobachtet, die im Mai 2016 für HKD 350.000,00 (€ 40.453,52) versteigert wurde.
