The work Bumi Hijau (Green Earth) by A.D. Pirous was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Paintings auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2013. The result of HKD 40,000.00 (€ 3,915.55) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of HKD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by A.D. Pirous achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Bila Bumi Bergetar II (When The Earth Quakes II) in May 2016 with an auction result of HKD 350,000.00 (€ 40,453.52).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit Bumi Hijau (Green Earth) von A.D. Pirous wurde im April 2013 in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Paintings bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von HKD 40.000,00 (€ 3.915,55) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von A.D. Pirous erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Bila Bumi Bergetar II (When The Earth Quakes II) im Mai 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 350.000,00 (€ 40.453,52).
