Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Lembah Taman Sari by A.D. Pirous was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2019. The price achieved of HKD 40,000.00 (€ 4,553.16) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 32,000.00 – 55,000.00. Admittedly, works by A.D. Pirous have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Bila Bumi Bergetar II (When The Earth Quakes II) in May 2016 with an auction result of HKD 350,000.00 (€ 40,453.52).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Lembah Taman Sari von A.D. Pirous kam im April 2019 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 40.000,00 (€ 4.553,16) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 32.000,00 – 55.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von A.D. Pirous auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Bila Bumi Bergetar II (When The Earth Quakes II) im Mai 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 350.000,00 (€ 40.453,52).
