The work SELF PORTRAIT by A.D. Pirous was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2016. It achieved a price of HKD 112,500.00 (€ 13,708.88), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 61%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by A.D. Pirous - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Bila Bumi Bergetar II (When The Earth Quakes II), which sold at auction in May 2016 for HKD 350,000.00 (€ 40,453.52).

Die Arbeit SELF PORTRAIT von A.D. Pirous kam im November 2016 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 112.500,00 (€ 13.708,88) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 61%. Für andere Arbeiten von A.D. Pirous mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Bila Bumi Bergetar II (When The Earth Quakes II) beobachtet, die im Mai 2016 für HKD 350.000,00 (€ 40.453,52) versteigert wurde.
