Auction result misses estimated price range
In March 2010 a collector was able to acquire the work Transparency Of Time by Zigi Ben-Haim for USD 23,750.00 (€ 17,558.78). This price was achieved in the auction Contemporary Art at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 25,000.00 – 35,000.00 set by the auction house. Other works by Zigi Ben-Haim have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in March 2009 by the work Rush Hour at USD 27,500.00 (€ 20,737.50).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im März 2010 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Transparency Of Time von Zigi Ben-Haim für USD 23.750,00 (€ 17.558,78) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Contemporary Art bei Sothebys in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 25.000,00 – 35.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Zigi Ben-Haim wurden auch schon teurer gehandelt; den höchsten Preis, den wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachten konnten, erzielte im März 2009 die Arbeit Rush Hour mit USD 27.500,00 (€ 20.737,50).
